Well...life is grand.. Miss E is finally on her insulin pump. She has been for 6 days now. And I must say we love it. It is alot of work for us as parents but she is happier, and already has more energy and is healthier than I have seen her in ages. Wether it is just because she is feeling less stressed and not worrying about needles  I dont know. But it is great

Miss E is finally on her insulin pump..and all i can say is wow....it is way better than we thought it would be. She has only been on it for 24 hours and I'm loving it... now i am now worried that i have calculated her insulin wrong...she is more stable, happier, and no more needles as part of her normal day. life is grand...

also jerichospin has a new job.... im so proud of him. although it is quiet at night now as he goes ot bed by 8.30 and in the morning he isnt here... it iwll take some time to get used to him not being here all the time. I love you hun.... we are all proud of you

ok..im off ot get coffe after being up all night doing bgls while we get the pump settled and also i got news a very good friend of mine from my childhood died. it was expected as she was very ill for a very long time, but still t is sad. she is survived by her young son, husband and her parents, and brothers.

On tuesday I travelled to Canberra, to have a conferance and mediation session to sort out the final custody papers for the girls. And afer all the crap thier father put us through we got EVERYTHING we wanted. YAY bloody YAY..

the day wasnt without " he is such a dickhead" moments including demands that were beyond riduculous, but solicitors and the threat of losing his legal aide and having to pay thousands on dollars prevailed.

We can now get on with being a family and knowing where our life is going.

tonight the kids are being kids on school holidays, and wanting to stay up late.. to which my reply was ...if you get out of bed you will get jobs...horrible jobs...

with the ability to set the time by, her miss s comes out and askes for a job..so i sent her to clean her room...yeah like that is going to happen...

after a few cross words from me about cleaning and not playing she comes out to complain that miss e isnt helping.... with this i spot a lump in her pj pocket and i asked her why she had a toy in her pocket..

she just looked at me and said it wasnt a toy and opened her pocket to reveal a rock....so...naturally i said why is there a rock in your pocket...and miss s replied with a serious face

i have 3 rocks

at which point a laughed and lost all crediabilty as a cranky parent

for those few who read our journals you would know or baby is unwell and in hospital..well it gets worse...she was recovering well...there was even talk of her coming home today but last night her right lung collapsed...she is going to recover from it well but it is taking longer than normal...to the point we thought she was ok this morning and thought a cry she had  in the middle of the night reinflated her lung...so we dropped the level of oxygen she is receiving only ot have her go blue again and her breathing go bad again..so the oxygen has been put up again but her breathing is still not great..though she is sleeping atm and in relative comfort...i will update again soonish...but now im  off ot bed..sigh

We will post pics when we get the chance. We are home already and looking forward to getting her settled in.

Mrs BC and jerichospin

crazy bunny

you would think that with the hip pain, havign no life atm, being fat and not being able to sleep would be enough.. but no...... now i HAVE to clean the linen cupboard....but that isnt the end of it...NOOOOO.... not only do i have a HUGE urge to sort, refold and organise said cupboard, I dont have the energy to finish the bloody job. All the linen is done, sorted and even in bundles of matching doona covers, sheets and pillow cases, but I'm so tired now, and my feet are swollen now that I am leaving the curtains to be folded tomorrow. The cupboard has been a mess for ages, so the curtaiscan wait until morning, so can clean linen on our bed.

On the baby front.  I am having a check up on thursdayto see if thingsare ok for being induced then, but if not then tuesday or wednesday are the days..ie 10th or the 11th June. BRING IT ON.

Mrs BC

bride

yesterday jerichospin and i went to see the drs and to get a date for having this baby. after everythig they told me about inducing me at 38 weeks, and us stupidly trusting them and getting the kids ready for the birth of thier sister, we were told they will not do it until the 10th June. I said it wasnt good enough. Im in so much pain, to the point i cant pee on my own anymore because I cant walk unless doped up on pain killers. then i realsie something else. the 10th of june is my "mothers" birthday. There is no way I am ging ot have my daughter on that womans birthdays. So i have said if im still in one peice then I want to be induced on the 11th.

The dr checked our little girl out and she is ready to be born, her head in engaged ( no shit sherlock asi feel like i have a bowling ball between my legs). She did a internal to see what my cervix is doing to see if it was favourable for a earlier induction than the 11th. BUt it wasnt...DAMN..although she did a "membrane sweep". which is raises the chances of going into labour myself. so here's hoping.

we have the nappies folded ( and yes we are goingot use cloth nappies) everything on our list is bought( except for a winter jacket i think we will need for bub but i'll get that once she is er enad i see what size she is) and even the car is going again....YAY.

so we are "ready" until i get bored again and start ebay surfing again...lmoa

on a differant note.. i have joined a website called simple savings. www.simplesavings.com.au

it has thousands of ways of cutting costs in your home without losing the quality of your life. and here is a reat one to cut your electic bills. Anyone who has little kids knows the frustration of running around turning lights off after your little "angel" has been in a room. well during the ay turn the light switch off at the powere box, and at night get some outdoo solar powered grden lights and place them around your home in the evening to light your house a night.. and it cost nothing to run...i have found 12 solar lights on ebay for $50 including postage, so we will be doing this very soon...as  our electricity bills will otherwise go up when we need to use te dryer to dry the nappies for bub. I cant wait to start using the tips on thi site..and if you need tosave money it is a great place to get ideas..once i get started I expect we will actually be able to save some money. whoohoo

Little Miss S is home with a ear infection. She is watching Dora the explorer atm....Dora is on er way to save the ice cream truck when she comes to puzzle bridge. Sh calls the crane to help lift the peices into place and asks for something that can lift metal ( correct answer is a magnet) but jerichospin says in the background "SUPERMAN!!!!".

Miss s sits up..looks seriouly at jerichospin and says

"Silly Dadddy. Superman isnt in Dora!!"..then she gives a big sigh

so there..take that Daddy

These is nothing like the death of someone you knew who dies suddenly to make you think of your own morality. I got word of someone I didnt know all that well who died in a plane crash last week. Although I didnt know him personally very well ( although I knew the family fairly well as I went ot school with his brother Chris ) I am very sad to think of this mans wonderful family going through such a terriable time. The Landini family are a wonderful family who are always there for the community. EVEYRONE knows and respects them, and I cannot remember anyone saying a mean or even snide remark about them. Rodney is survived byhis wife of 9 years, and 3 young bos aged 5,3 and 1. How sad is that. How horriable for these little boys to he to grow up without thier lovng father, and how terriable for his wife to have to now raiset hese boys without the love and support of thier father. The one consolation being that the Landini family are so close that I can say withall surity that she willnever be alone in this tragedy. RIP Rodney...not only will your family and friends miss you..but the whole community.
